Pricing Guide:

A5 - £85 (+15% for each additional animal)

A4 - £125 (+15% for each additional animal)

A3 - £165 (+15% for each additional animal)

Free Postage within the UK. Postage will apply to international orders.

What to do before ordering:

Gather Photos

Photos are the most important part. Please provide high quality photos for your painting, the better the photo, the better the outcome. Photos should be taken in good lighting which clearly shows defining features such as the eyes and colour markings. 

Feel free to provide multiple photos of your pet to help me get a good feel to how they look. If you want more than one animal to be in the painting, don’t feel that you have to get them all in the same photo, I am more than happy for you to just provide individual photos of them and I can create a composition for you.

Think About Composition

Please think about how you want your painting to look. Do you want a full body portrait or just the face and shoulders. If you want your pet to be in a particular pose, please make sure you have photos of the exact position, I can only paint what I can see!

That being said, I am able to make tiny tweaks in my painting such as removing collars and ear tags etc. 

If there is anything extra you would like to add to the photo such as a favourite toy, bed or blanket etc. please let me know when ordering.

The majority of my pet portraits are on a white background. I can add a shadow under your pet or a small painted area such as a patch of grass or bit of flooring. If however you would like something more complex or even a fully painted background please contact me so we can discuss this further and I can provide you with a quote.

The more details you give me, the more accurate I can be in creating what you want.

Consider The Timescale

My normal timescale is roughly 2-8 weeks, please remember this is a bespoke hand painted piece. However if you have a specific date that you require this for then please let me know when enquiring to make sure I can complete your painting in time.

Once you have gathered your photos, decided what you want your painting to look like and are ready to place your order, them please get in touch via email at imogenlouisedesign@gmail.com

Once you have provided me with all the information and photos I need, I will then give you a final quote before asking you to pay a deposit of 25% of the price of your painting, which can be done by either Bank Transfer or Paypal. When I have received your deposit I will then confirm your booking and work will start on your painting.

Receiving The Initial Sketch

All my paintings start off as a pencil sketch. Once I have completed a pencil sketch of your painting I will send you copy via email for you to approve. This is the best time to suggest any changes you want to the composition of the painting, after this point there’s very little I can do to change the composition of the painting. 

Payment and Delivery

Once I have finished your painting I will send you a final copy via email for you to approve. Feel free to suggest any small changes to the painting. When I have confirmation that you are happy with the end result I will send you an invoice for the remaining payment, which can again be done by either Bank Transfer of Paypal. I will then post your painting out to you in 2-5 days once the transaction is complete and payment is received in full.

Your painting will be posted out to you in a card backed envelope (larger sizes may be rolled up into a parcel tube) by a tracked service. The painting itself will be inside a protective biodegradable bag and backed with recycled greyboard. 

Terms and Conditions.

1. Refunds will not be accepted. By placing a booking with me, it is expected that you are familiar with the work I produce and that you are accepting that as an artist I will try to represent your animal in my style to the best of my ability using the photos you have provided.

2. Deposits are non-refundable.

3. I own the copyright on all my work I create including commissions. No reproductions of my work may be made without my written permission beforehand.

4. As the artist I have the right to reproduce any of the commissioned work I create. If this is something you do not wish, please let me know upon booking.

5. While I will do my utmost best to create you a painting that you are totally happy with, I cannot be held responsible for any missed details that you did not declare while placing your booking e.g failing to exclude ID tags, not changing the colour of a collar, missing out a favourite toy.
